Angioplasty

Angioplasty is a medical procedure used to open up narrowed or blocked arteries, typically in the heart, to restore normal blood flow. It is commonly performed to treat coronary artery disease (CAD) and can help alleviate symptoms such as chest pain (angina) or shortness of breath. Angioplasty is often accompanied by the placement of a stent to keep the artery open.
